I'm TJ and I write this blog while living on Turrbal Country in Meanjin (Brisbane). I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities. I pay my respects to First Nations Elders past and present, and I welcome feedback on my work from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Always was, always will be. 🖤💛💝 

I began writing as soon as I could hold a pen, and at 4 years old, I produced my first book: The Adventures of Freddy the Fish.

It was well received by its readers and reviewers – namely, my parents.

I have a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Writing and Editing), and am currently studying a Master of Teaching degree.

I actively advocate on social media for better legal protection for victim-survivors of domestic and family violence (DFV), better mental health care in Australia, and better healthcare for women, including more support for birth trauma and bereaved parents.

In my “free time”, I love crochet, painting, studying languages, dance, martial arts, and more.
